Flood Debris Notification
Effective October 1, 2011, York County residents and waste haulers may deliver processible flood debris to the York County Resource Recovery Center(RRC). The fee to deliver flood debris is $56 a ton. The minimum fee to deliver flood debris to the RRC is $10 up to 340 pounds. After that, the fee is prorated up to $56 a ton.
Modern Landfill will accept York County flood debris at a fee of $48.75 a ton. This fee will remain in place for flood debris only until November 24, 2011 and reflects a reduction based on Pennsylvania’s declaration of emergency issued on August 26, 2011.
