The York County Solid Waste Authority recently appointed Lauren Washburn to the position of Recycling Coordinator.

Washburn is responsible for promoting waste reduction, reuse and recycling by developing and implementing programs for the public and assisting in making York County municipal recycling programs sustainable.  Washburn is a graduate of Bermudian Springs High School and is a member of the Professional Recyclers of Pennsylvania.  She resides in York County .
